compile error - MOD_INC_USE_COUNT

I am trying to compile a fritz avm isdn driver for linux, and I keep
running into this error.

The distro is a centos 4.5 final build on an AMD K7.
Does any one know more about fixing this problem, or some compiler
options I might use to bypass it
